Description:

Lead a new project in FPGA design.

Qualifications:
  • B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from a leading technical university
  • 4-5 years work experience in implementation of complex designs in FPGA/Altera
  • Skillful in writing Perl scripts
  • High level debugging skills

Position:

Experienced Chip Design Engineer

Location:

Yokneam, Israel

Description:

Design state-of-the-art communications processors.

Qualifications:
  • B.Sc. in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or Computer Engineering from a leading technical university
  • 3-5 years relevant work experience including:
    • ASIC/FPGA design
    • Verilog/VHDL programming
    • All stages of chip design and/or verification
    • Experience in networking as well as an understanding of communications protocols, such as TCP/IP

Description:

For the ongoing interface between our R&D department and the chip manufacturer. The Backend Group does not deal specifically with system design.

Qualifications:
  • B.Sc. in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or Computer Engineering from a leading technical university
  • Professional skills recommended:
    • Experience with signal integrity testing, such as operation of HSPICE.
    • Knowledge of scripting languages, such as Tcl/Tk and Perl.
    • Knowledge of synthesis tools and STA, such as Synopsys Design Compiler and PrimeTime.
  • Personal skills recommended:
    • Ability to learn quickly and independently.
    • Superior personal relations and ability to work with contractors.
    • Ability to work overtime or from home.
    • Travel is required.

Backend Design Engineer (or Practical Engineer) , R&D Dept.

Location:

Yokneam, Israel

Description:

For the ongoing interface between our R&D department and the chip manufacturer. The Backend Group does not deal specifically with system design.

Qualifications:
  • B.Sc. or Practical Engineering degree from a leading technical university
  • 1-2 years relevant experience
  • Experience with signal integrity testing, such as operation of HSPICE, is mandatory.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages, such as Tcl/Tk and Perl.
  • Knowledge of methodology of IBM operation is advantageous
  • Personal skills recommended:
    • Ability to learn quickly and independently.
    • Ability to work overtime.

Position:

Experienced Microcode Engineer

Location:

Yokneam, Israel

Description:

For developing networking applications to run on our high-performance network processors using our toolsets. This may include either generic application code to be provided as sample code or customer code developed for a specific application. The position includes:

 
  • Assisting customers in the development of their microcode applications.
  • Performing detailed analyses of specific customer applications and proposing implementations.
  • Performing software implementation and testing on hardware reference platforms.
Qualifications:
  • Professional skills required:
    • B.Sc. in Computer Science from a leading technical university.
    • At least 2 years programming experience in:
      • Real time, PSOS and VxWorks
      • Microcode, C and assembler
      • Writing metro and Layer 2-3 application
  • Experience in working with hardware (FPGA) or network processors is advantageous.
  • The positions requires:
    • Efficient planning skills including system-level understanding.
    • Strong programming skills.

Position:

Physical Design/Layout Engineer, Backend Dept.

Location:

Yokneam, Israel

Description:

The position requires the learning of various layout methodologies, toolsets and procedures, and implementing them within the company. Requires working several months overseas with layout personnel there.

Qualifications:
  • B.Sc. in Electronic Engineering from a leading technical university
  • Professional skills recommended:
    • Relevant experience in chip design/layout.
    • Excellent English skills (verbal and written).
    • Willingness to travel abroad, including a 3-month stay.
